According to media reports, the phenomenon of "0 sugar" and "0 fat" on food labels has sparked discussion recently. However, in reality, some food labels have conceptual vagueness or substitution, such as promoting "0 sugar" as "0 added sugar" or "0 sucrose", while the product itself may contain a large amount of natural sugar. Similarly, beverages marketed as "0 fat" may contain a high proportion of sugar, resulting in the total energy content still remaining high. Intellectual property information from Tianyancha shows that "0 fat" has been registered by multiple parties as a trademark, including Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd., and Suntory Holdings Limited, with international classifications involving food, convenience food, beer, and beverages. Currently, the majority of trademarks have been rejected and are in an invalid status. In addition, "0 sugar" has also been registered by multiple parties as a trademark, including Xu Fuji International Holding Group Limited and the affiliated company of Naixue Tea, Shenzhen Pindao Catering Management Co., Ltd., with international classifications involving food, convenience food, beer, and beverages. Currently, the majority of trademarks have been rejected and are in an invalid status.
