Passenger Car Association: From April 1st to 19th, the national retail sales of passenger cars totaled 627,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 26%.

The China Passenger Car Association released data showing that from April 1 to 19, a total of 627,000 passenger cars were retailed in the national market, a 26% decrease compared to the same period last year and an 18% decrease compared to the previous month. So far this year, a total of 4.848 million passenger cars have been retailed, a 19% decrease compared to the same period last year. From April 1 to 19, a total of 387,000 new energy passenger cars were retailed nationwide, a 14% decrease compared to the same period last year and a 5% decrease compared to the previous month. So far this year, a total of 2.295 million new energy passenger cars have been retailed, a 20% decrease compared to the same period last year. The retail penetration rate of new energy passenger cars in the national market from April 1 to 19 was 61.7%. The wholesale penetration rate of new energy passenger cars for manufacturers nationwide from April 1 to 19 was 54.7%.
