This week, at least two Iranian oil tankers loaded with oil have sailed out of the Persian Gulf, breaking through the US blockade. According to the data intelligence company Vortexa, the latest satellite images show that two large crude oil tankers, Hero II and Hedy, both flying the Iranian flag, crossed the US-designated blockade line on April 20 and entered the Arabian Sea. Combined, these two ships can carry up to 4 million barrels of crude oil.
