TikTok e-commerce platform disclosed progress in food safety governance, and cooperated with relevant departments to apprehend 31 suspected criminals.

On April 22nd, Douyin's E-commerce Safety and Trust Center disclosed the progress of food safety governance. In the past three months, through proactive identification and interception, the platform has disposed of 8087 violating accounts of celebrities, 1696 violating stores, and banned over 7143 violating products. At the same time, in the past year, based on relevant clues in the food field, the platform has actively cooperated with relevant departments to promote crackdown on more than 10 cases, leading to the criminal detention of 31 suspects.
