Paul Atkins, Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), delivered a keynote speech at the Washington Economic Club, stating that in his first year in office, he has pushed for the SEC to return to its core mission of "protecting investors, maintaining market integrity, and promoting capital formation."
