J.P. Morgan's chief stock strategist has raised the year-end target for the S&P 500 index from the previous 7,200 points to 7,600 points, implying a potential increase of about 6.9% from Monday's closing price. The bank has also raised its annual earnings forecast for the S&P 500 index to $330 per share, up from the previous $315 per share, and has raised its 2027 earnings target from $355 per share to $385 per share.
