According to Hubei Daily, on the afternoon of April 21, Wang Zhonglin, Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, met with the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Huadian Corporation Limited, Wen Shugang, and his delegation in Wuhan. Wang Zhonglin expressed his hope that China Huadian would fully leverage the advantages of being a key central energy enterprise, continuously increase investment in Hubei, deepen cooperation with Hubei in the fields of power supply guarantee and technological innovation, and help Hubei build a new energy system that is clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient. Wen Shugang stated that China Huadian will continue to strengthen its deep cooperation with Hubei, ensure energy supply, vigorously promote the construction of major projects, increase efforts in technological innovation, and contribute greater strength towards helping Hubei accelerate the construction of an important strategic fulcrum for the rise of the central region.
