China Merchants Shekou snapped up two plots of land in Shanghai in one day, with a premium rate of 25% for the Xuhui Botanical Garden plot.

On April 21, in the third land auction of 2026 in Shanghai, the plot of land xh290-09 in unit S031201 of Xuhui District was finally acquired by Shanghai Zhaohui Qingya Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. for 3.3 billion yuan after 82 rounds of bidding, with a floor price of approximately 87,000 yuan per square meter and a premium rate of 25%. After deducting 3,500 square meters of supporting construction, the cost of salable floor area is approximately 96,000 yuan per square meter. This plot of land attracted a total of 9 bidders, including Shanghai Chengtou, China Merchants Shekou, China Overseas, "Jianfa + Xiangyu" consortium, Yuexiu, "Poly + West Bank" consortium, China Resources Land, Greenland, and "Jinmao + Qingneng" consortium, to participate in the bidding on site.
