On April 21st, it was reported that the complete set of equipment and technology for the world's largest open-mouthed molten salt tank-style solar collector with a diameter of 8.6 meters, independently developed by China General Nuclear Group (CGN), has successfully completed technical verification at the CGN Solar Thermal Test Base in Delingha City, Qinghai Province. This signifies that China has comprehensively mastered the core technology of molten salt tank-style solar collectors, laying the foundation for the large-scale development of domestic molten salt tank-style solar thermal projects.
