Interstellar Glory thanks the Red Army: Sky-based computing power becomes the fourth largest space application.
As one of the pioneers in the commercial space sector in China, Interstellar Glory Aerospace Technology Group Co., Ltd. has long been focused on the research and development of reusable launch vehicles, aiming to provide low-cost, high-frequency, and highly reliable space launch services for global users. Since its establishment, the company has successfully completed multiple launches of solid-fueled rockets and vertical takeoff and landing and reusability flight verification tests of liquid-fueled rockets. The company continues to deepen its expertise in reusable launch vehicles, liquid oxygen methane engines, and other areas.
Recently, Xie Hongjun, the Vice General Manager of Interstellar Glory, gave an interview to journalists, discussing topics such as the layout of manufacturing bases, the development progress of the Hyperbolic Three launch vehicle, the strategic importance of space-based computing power, and industry development trends. Xie Hongjun revealed that the Hyperbolic Three rocket is currently in intense final assembly and testing, with the goal of making its maiden flight into orbit and sea recovery by the end of the year; the cost inflection point for space-based computing power is expected to occur in the next 3 to 5 years. He emphasized that commercial space must adhere to "high-quality and safe development," advancing in an orderly manner under the constraints of national policies and regulations, and called on investors to maintain rationality and a long-term perspective.
