On April 17, Shandong Airport Management Group Heze Airport Co., Ltd. announced that Heze Peony Airport will be temporarily closed for more than a month for infrastructure improvements. The announcement states that due to the upgrading and renovation of airport infrastructure, approved by the civil aviation supervisory department, Heze Peony Airport will be temporarily closed from 00:00 on April 25, 2026 to 23:59 on June 10, 2026, with all routes and flights suspended.
