"May 1st" flights canceled near? Airlines: Priority transfer to ensure passengers travel smoothly
The May Day holiday is approaching, and many people are planning to travel. Recently, due to factors such as soaring fuel prices and tight supply, many global airlines have reduced their capacity to varying degrees, directly leading to the widespread cancellation of flights. Zhu Yaochun, Assistant to the Chairman of the Chinese Air Transport Association, stated: all passengers affected by flight adjustments will not be charged any handling fees or service fees for refunds or changes. Airlines should communicate the reasons for flight adjustments, alternative solutions, and processing procedures to affected passengers through multiple channels such as text messages, official public accounts, and customer service hotlines as soon as possible to ensure that everyone is informed in advance and can adjust their travel plans accordingly.
