Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said on the 18th that Malaysia's national oil company can negotiate with Russia on oil supply issues to ensure the country has sufficient energy reserves. Anwar said that the current geopolitical tensions directly affect the global transportation industry and fuel supply, and given Malaysia's good relationship with Russia, Malaysian companies including the national oil company can negotiate with Russia to meet domestic demand.
