AI computing power ignites demand for high-end PCBs. Fund managers say PCB industry is embracing structural growth opportunities.
Printed circuit boards, commonly known as the "mother of electronic products," have long been classified as a traditional manufacturing industry with strong cycles and low growth. However, with the explosive growth of generative AI, the strong demand for PCBs from AI servers is reshaping the industry's valuation logic and growth curve, with a trillion-dollar market space attracting a multitude of fund managers to strategically position themselves.
Several fund managers interviewed by Securities Times reporters have stated that under the wave of AI computing power, the construction of computing power infrastructure is accelerating, and the PCB industry is experiencing significant structural growth opportunities. The continuous high demand for high-frequency, high-speed, high-layer, and advanced HDI PCB products from AI servers, high-speed switches, and other core computing power equipment, combined with the substantial increase in the value of PCBs for single AI devices compared to traditional servers, has fueled industry growth momentum. This has become the core logic supporting fund positioning.
