French shipping group CMA CGM confirmed that one of its ships was fired upon in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday.

French shipping company CMA CGM confirmed on Sunday local time that one of the ships targeted by gunfire in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday belonged to its fleet, and described the incident as a "warning shot". The company added that all crew members are safe.
