The National Development and Reform Commission issues the second batch of "Two Lists" construction projects for 2026.

On the 19th, it was learned from the National Development and Reform Commission that recently, the National Development and Reform Commission, together with relevant departments, issued the second batch of "double focus" construction project list for 2026, arranging a total of 216.8 billion yuan in long-term special national bonds to support 336 major projects. Reporters learned that the relevant projects involve artificial intelligence, urban underground pipeline construction and renovation, transportation infrastructure in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, high-standard farmland, upgrading of higher education quality, the "Three North" project, and other key areas. With the previous allocation of 389.7 billion yuan, this year a total of 606.5 billion yuan has been arranged for "double focus" construction funds, accounting for 76% of the total of 800 billion yuan for the year, with a distribution progress significantly faster than last year. A relevant person in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission stated that they will further improve and optimize investment and financing mechanisms, accelerate the implementation of "soft construction" measures, strengthen the supervision of central investment funds, and early form more tangible work results.
