Samsung halts production of two major memory products.

According to South Korean media The Elec, it was confirmed on April 17 that Samsung Electronics has officially stopped receiving new orders for LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X, marking the end-of-life (EOL) phase for these two mainstream memory products that have been in production for over a decade. LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X have been the most mainstream memory solutions for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other consumer electronic devices over the past decade. LPDDR4 and LPDDR4X entered mass production around 2017 and became the standard configuration for billions of mobile devices worldwide, thanks to their low-voltage design and excellent power performance.
