In the newly revised Article 4 of the "Sichuan Tobacco Monopoly Regulations", it is stated that the whole society should strengthen the publicity and education on the harm of smoking to health. Smoking is prohibited or restricted in public transportation and public places, and students in primary and secondary schools are prohibited from smoking. At the same time, the regulations clearly state that new tobacco products such as electronic cigarettes should be subject to the relevant provisions of these regulations. Violation of these regulations, such as selling tobacco products to minors, may result in a fine of up to 50,000 yuan.
