On April 18, the 18th Guizhou Tea Industry Expo opened in Meitan County, Zunyi City. The official report released at the event, "Achievements in Coordinated Development of the 'Three Teas' in Guizhou during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period," shows that Guizhou's black tea production and export prices both rank first in the country. The tea industry has successfully become the first agricultural industry in the province with a production value of over 100 billion yuan, achieving a historic leap from expansion in scale to improvement in quality and efficiency. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Guizhou has deeply implemented the concept of coordinated development of "tea culture, tea industry, and tea technology," improving the entire industry chain and ranking highly in various indicators nationwide. The province's tea plantation area ranks among the top in the country, with tea production, comprehensive output value, and exports ranking 5th, 7th, and 8th nationwide, respectively. As an industry benchmark, Guizhou black tea, known for its excellent quality of "clean Guizhou tea," has seen its value soar in the international market and become a core force in Chinese black tea exports.
