Tesla is expanding its robotaxi service to Dallas and Houston.
Tesla announced on Saturday that the electric car manufacturer is launching robot taxis in Dallas and Houston, further expanding its new services in the United States since its debut in Austin, Texas last year. The official Tesla robot taxi account on Twitter announced the launch of this service on X, and released two videos showing its best-selling Model Y SUV operating in these two cities without a human driver or monitor in the front seat. It also released two maps outlining the service areas, but did not disclose more details such as fleet size or pricing. "Try Tesla robot taxis in Dallas and Houston!" Tesla CEO Musk said when retweeting the X post.
