At another fiber optic production company in Jiangsu, the person in charge told reporters that the production and sales volume of fiber optics in the first quarter of this year increased nearly five times year-on-year. At the same time, product prices have also seen a significant increase. "Prices have surged explosively, with G.657.A2 fiber optic cables costing 32 yuan per core kilometer last year, but this year it has risen to 240 yuan, an increase of 650%."
