Analysis of data from the company Kpler shows that as of 6:00 PM Greenwich Mean Time on Friday, 8 commercial vessels crossed the Strait of Hormuz, compared to only 5 the previous day. On Saturday morning, Iranian parliamentary speaker Kalibaf, who has been representing Tehran in negotiations, stated that if the US continues to block Iranian ports, the strait "will not remain open."
