Audi and SAIC are jointly developing the next generation of vehicles, with four models planned for the initial batch.

On April 17th, Audi signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SAIC Group, further deepening their collaboration. The agreement focuses on the full value chain layout of future models of the Audi brand, with the core covering the entire vehicle research and development field, and will establish the Audi Innovation and Technology Center in Shanghai. It is reported that the two parties will jointly develop future models of the Audi brand based on the next-generation intelligent digital platform, planning the first four models. The Audi brand will be released in 2024, with the first mass-produced model, the E5 Sportback, scheduled for launch in 2025, the first SUV Audi E7X to debut at the auto show, and the third model planned for release in 2027.
