Tangshan City Heavy Pollution Weather Emergency Response Command issued a notice on April 16 to start the level II emergency response to heavy pollution weather: According to the forecast, it is expected that starting from April 16, our city will experience a weak south wind at the surface, overall humidity will increase, and atmospheric diffusion conditions will deteriorate. Under the influence of the convergence of wind fields, there will be a moderate to severe pollution process. After studying, it was decided that, on the premise of ensuring safety, the city will start the level II emergency response to heavy pollution weather from 12:00 on April 16, 2026, and the lifting time will be notified separately.
