From April 15, the Hainan circular high-speed railway will adjust its schedule, making travel between air and rail more convenient.

The reporter learned from the Haikou Car Service Section of Hainan Railway that starting from zero o'clock on April 15, 2026, a new round of train operation schedule adjustments will be implemented for the Hainan Ring High-speed Railway. The air-rail intermodal transport system will be further upgraded, and the air-rail connection capacity of Haikou Meilan Station and Sanya Fenghuang Airport Station will be significantly enhanced. Measures such as extending the last train departure time and increasing the number of trains will be introduced to facilitate passengers, bridging the "last mile" of air-rail connection. The last train from Meilan Station to Sanya will now depart at 22:51, which is about 40 minutes later than before. At the same time, the capacity of Sanya Fenghuang Airport Station will be increased, with 4 additional pairs of trains operating from this station. Trains on the eastern section of the Hainan Ring High-speed Railway will now directly extend to and from Fenghuang Airport Station, eliminating the need to transfer to Sanya Station as in the past.
