Since the beginning of this year, the pace of local government bond issuance has accelerated, with the issuance of special land reserve bonds nearly doubling year-on-year.

The rhythm of issuing special bonds this year has accelerated compared to last year. Data shows that as of April 13, the total issuance of new special bonds by various regions is approximately 1.1879 trillion yuan, with a progress of 27%. In comparison, the total issuance of new special bonds during the same period last year was about 1.0183 trillion yuan, with a progress of 23%. It is worth mentioning that this year, the issuance of land reserve special bonds has reached 84.9 billion yuan, a 95% increase compared to the same period last year, almost doubling. In the first quarter, the issuance of land reserve special bonds by various regions was 78.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 130%.
