Rolls-Royce in the UK officially launches the design work of small modular nuclear reactors, supported by nearly 600 million pounds.

The famous British aerospace engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce has officially started the design work for the UK's first batch of small modular nuclear reactors, and has received funding of up to 599 million from the UK National Wealth Fund. The UK National Wealth Fund stated that the first batch of SMR projects is expected to create approximately 3,000 jobs during the construction peak.
