Chinalco International: Supplementary signing of EPC contract amendment for Indonesia alumina project

Chinalco International announced that the company and its consortium have signed a supplementary agreement to the EPC general contract for the Indonesian 1 million-ton per year metallurgical grade alumina project with Indonesia Borneo Alumina Company. The project has been split into two sub-projects: the alumina plant and the tailings system, each with its own completion deadline. The alumina plant project was completed on February 11, while the tailings system project will run from March 1 to June 30, 2027. If the project is successfully implemented, it will have a positive impact on the company's performance. However, the contract implementation faces various risks, and the company will manage these risks comprehensively and disclose progress in a timely manner.
