Ministry of Transport: To adjust the freight rates of the matchmaking platform and carrier platform engaged in trunkline freight business in coordination with changes in the national average of gasoline and diesel highest retail prices.

The Ministry of Transportation has issued a notice on promoting the establishment of a mechanism for coordinated adjustment of oil and freight prices on network freight platforms. It points out that network freight platforms include matching platforms and carrier platforms. For matching platforms engaged in trunk freight business, the prices to be adjusted include suggested prices, minimum barrier prices, etc. For carrier platforms engaged in trunk freight business, the prices to be adjusted refer to the actual transaction prices of the carriers. For matching platforms engaged in local freight business, the prices to be adjusted include starting prices, segmented prices, etc. The adjustment of prices for trunk freight business on matching platforms and carrier platforms is coordinated with the changes in the national average retail prices of gasoline and diesel; the adjustment of prices for local freight business on matching platforms is coordinated with the changes in the highest retail prices of gasoline and diesel in the operating cities. The adjustment targets include all operational trucks that accept orders on the platform.
