The 37th APEC Energy Data Analysis Experts Group Meeting was held in Guangzhou.

From April 8th to 10th, the 37th APEC Energy Data Analysis Expert Group Meeting was held in Guangzhou. During the meeting, participants discussed key tasks and progress under the APEC Energy Working Group framework, energy data statistical capacity building, revision of new energy data collection standards, and cooperation with international organizations such as the International Energy Agency and the International Renewable Energy Agency in the coordination of energy efficiency indicators and data. The meeting was accompanied by two seminars on "The Reshaping Effect of Digital Technology on APEC Energy Supply Chains" and "Research on the Integration of Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Energy under the APEC Framework," further expanding the depth and coverage of cooperation. After the meeting, participants also conducted on-site technical visits to understand China's exploration and practice in the integration of data and energy development, providing a practical sample for the digital transformation of energy in the Asia-Pacific region.
