Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, Zhang Guoqing, conducted research on the establishment and operation of China Yajiang Group and the construction of the Yaxia hydropower project in Nyingchi, Tibet from the 10th to the 12th. Zhang Guoqing visited the construction site and the group's headquarters to understand the progress of construction, equipment operation, project scheduling, company management, and living conditions, and fully communicated with technical backbone and construction personnel. He emphasized that Yajiang Group should thoroughly implement the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping, implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, take a responsible attitude towards history and the people, firmly shoulder the main responsibility for project construction, and build the Yaxia hydropower project into a major iconic project of the new era. We must prioritize quality, place safety first, strictly implement construction standards and ecological environmental protection requirements, strengthen quality control throughout the entire process of project design, construction organization, material supply, and tighten safety production responsibility measures to ensure that progress is subordinate to quality and safety. We must adhere to the leadership of the Party, strengthen the construction of the Party, comprehensively improve the company's operational management capabilities, build an intelligent command and dispatch system and a penetrating supervision system, establish a scientific and efficient operation mechanism, intensively and normatively make good use of resources and funds, and create a clean project.
