The international passenger transport route from Jinghong, China to Ban Xiangguo, Laos is officially in operation.

On the 11th, it was learned from the Yunnan Provincial Department of Transportation that the China-Jinghong to Laos Banxiaoguo International Passenger Line officially started running with a departure ceremony held in Xishuangbanna Prefecture that day. Witnessed by representatives from China and Laos, a new channel was added to the cross-border international passenger line between China and Laos. The China-Jinghong to Laos Banxiaoguo International Passenger Line is approximately 280 kilometers long, starting from Jinghong City in Xishuangbanna Prefecture and departing from the Xishuangbanna ASEAN International Comprehensive Transportation Service Center. It exits the country through the Mengman Chahe Port, with one daily round trip operated by both sides, providing a "point-to-point, door-to-door" direct service.
