In March, nearly 20,000 second-hand houses were sold in Beijing, reaching a new high in nearly 15 months.

The latest data released by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development shows that in March of this year, there were 19,886 transactions of second-hand houses in Beijing, setting a new monthly record in the past 15 months. Industry insiders believe that in the first quarter of this year, a variety of factors combined to make the real estate market active, leading to a warming trend in transactions.
