According to data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, as of the week ending on April 7th, speculators increased their net short positions in Chicago Mercantile Exchange's U.S. 2-year treasury bond futures by 74,691 contracts to 1,712,015 contracts; speculators increased their net short positions in Chicago Mercantile Exchange's U.S. 10-year treasury bond futures by 39,561 contracts to 823,624 contracts; speculators reduced their net short positions in Chicago Mercantile Exchange's U.S. 5-year treasury bond futures by 33,911 contracts to 1,552,929 contracts during the week ending on April 7th.
