Bohai Oilfield's oil and gas production exceeded 10 million tons of oil equivalent in the first quarter.

On April 10th, reporters learned from CNOOC Tianjin Company that China's largest offshore oil field, the Bohai Oilfield, is anchoring on the target of stable production and increasing production throughout the year. By the first quarter of 2026, the oil and gas production will exceed 10 million tons of oil equivalent. The Bohai Oilfield is deeply cultivating old oil fields with fine management, various departments are collaborating to carry out technical breakthroughs, and efforts are being made to fully tap the potential of old oil fields. Through the re-examination of old wells and strengthening of side drilling for low production and low efficiency wells, as well as through fine water injection and stable oil control measures in old oil fields, the water control and oil increase effects of multiple oil wells are significant, leading to a substantial increase in single well production.
