In order to promote the stable and positive development of safety production in the construction of highway and waterway projects, in accordance with the "Warning and Supervision Measures for Safety Production of the Ministry of Transportation", the Office of the Ministry of Transportation Safety recently held a meeting with China Railway Construction Corporation Limited and its related subsidiaries. The meeting emphasized that China Railway Construction Corporation Limited should deeply implement the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on safety production work, earnestly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, coordinate development and safety well, adhere to the principle of people first and life first, establish and practice a correct view of political achievements, balance the relationship between safety, quality, construction period, and efficiency, adhere to strong management, high standards, strict requirements, and effectively improve the level of construction quality and safety management of highway and waterway projects. The meeting pointed out that China Railway Construction Corporation Limited should have a profound understanding of the current safety production situation, deeply analyze the underlying issues behind accidents, learn profound lessons from accidents, take practical steps, focus on preventing quality and safety risks caused by inadequate ideological understanding, inadequate on-site control, and inadequate material and product management, and resolutely curb the trend of frequent accidents.
