Ni Wenjin, Director of the Department of Rural Water Resources and Hydropower of the Ministry of Water Resources, introduced that as of April 9, the cumulative water supply for spring irrigation nationwide has reached 17.2 billion cubic meters, irrigating an area of 170 million acres. Among them, a total of 11.5 billion cubic meters of water has been supplied to 3,338 large and medium-sized irrigation areas, irrigating an area of over 100 million acres.
