Our country has launched the "artificial intelligence + education" action plan, and artificial intelligence will be included in the teacher qualification examination and certification content. It was learned at a press conference held by the Ministry of Education on April 10 that the action plan proposes to empower teachers with the use of artificial intelligence in teaching. It focuses on strengthening the application of intelligent teaching systems throughout the entire process of pre-class, in-class, and post-class education, reducing the burden on teachers and improving efficiency; assisting teachers in homework management, promoting intelligent correction, answering questions, and tutoring; using intelligent technology to analyze classroom teaching behavior and help teachers improve teaching quality. The action plan clearly accelerates the popularization of artificial intelligence education for primary and secondary school students, offering relevant courses comprehensively and ensuring sufficient quality. It promotes the comprehensive integration of artificial intelligence education into the local curriculum system, guiding each region in developing artificial intelligence curriculum guidelines, clarifying curriculum objectives, content, and hour requirements for each stage of schooling. It encourages interdisciplinary teaching of artificial intelligence, promotes the integration of artificial intelligence education into post-class services, research and practical study, and other activities. Focusing on cultivating high-level talents for the intelligent era, the action plan requires that artificial intelligence become a public basic course in universities, with curriculum materials prepared according to subject specialties, promoting all students to master artificial intelligence knowledge. It optimizes traditional subject-specific talent training programs, guiding universities to offer interdisciplinary fusion courses in artificial intelligence, enriching interdisciplinary, cross-professional course groups, and developing composite interdisciplinary talents. According to the industrial structure, the plan will upgrade and adjust subject-specific programs, introducing a new batch of subject specialties that adapt to new technologies, industries, and formats. In addition, according to the action plan, artificial intelligence will be further utilized to empower student learning, education governance, and scientific research, strengthening and optimizing the "artificial intelligence + education" basic environment and development ecosystem. By 2030, a vertically and horizontally connected artificial intelligence education system and a comprehensive public education system will be established.
