Armed group attacks northwest Nigeria, killing more than 40 people

On April 8th local time, it was reported from Nigeria that armed militants have launched attacks in multiple villages in Kebbi State in northwestern Nigeria and neighboring Niger State since the 5th of this month, resulting in the deaths of more than 40 people. At least 500 people have fled their homes as a result of the attacks, with most of them being temporarily accommodated in local churches and schools. Currently, no organization has claimed responsibility for these series of attacks.
