Shanghai International Energy Exchange: Take regulatory measures to restrict the opening of positions for some customers.

On April 8th, Shanghai International Energy Exchange announced measures to restrict opening positions for certain clients. On April 8, 2026, two groups of accounts with actual control relationships exceeded the trading volume limit on relevant contracts within a single trading day, reaching the handling standard set by the Shanghai International Energy Exchange. The trading behavior of the above-mentioned clients violated Article 16 of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange Regulations on Abnormal Trading Behavior. Therefore, Shanghai Energy Exchange decided to implement regulatory measures to restrict opening positions for the relevant clients on the corresponding contracts.
