On April 3, 2026, Minister of Finance, Lan Fu'an, met with Ethiopian Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shid, in Beijing. The two sides mainly exchanged views on cooperation in the financial and economic fields of the two countries, financing for relevant projects, and the macroeconomic situation.
