On April 7, local time, the sports camera manufacturer GoPro submitted a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, disclosing that its board of directors has approved a restructuring plan aimed at reducing operating costs and increasing operational leverage. It is expected that approximately 145 employees, accounting for 23% of the total number of employees at the end of the first quarter, will be laid off globally. The layoffs are expected to begin in the second quarter of this year and are anticipated to be mostly completed by the end of the year.
