At the policy briefing held today by the Ministry of Emergency Management and the National Fire Rescue Bureau, relevant officials of the National Fire Rescue Bureau introduced that in response to the long-standing issue of weak basic fire safety and prominent hidden dangers in large and old residential areas, as well as commercial self-built houses, the State Council's General Office recently issued the "Opinions on Strengthening Grassroots Fire Protection Work", proposing innovative measures: adopting a government purchase service approach to establish shared regional fire control rooms and self-help and self-rescue capabilities, promoting new intelligent fire protection products, and incorporating them into government livelihood projects.
