Since the beginning of this year, the German car market has shown signs of recovery. In March, the number of new passenger car registrations was 294,000, an increase of 16.0% year-on-year, and a cumulative increase of 5.2% in the first quarter. At the same time, sales of traditional fuel cars are still under pressure, with new registrations of gasoline cars and diesel cars in March down 4.9% and 0.6% respectively.
