Shengda Resources: Subsidiary Yinkuang's 900,000 tons per year underground mining project approved.
Shengda Resources announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Jinshan Mining recently received approval from the Inner Mongolia Development and Reform Commission to approve the underground mining engineering project of the Yinshan 90,000-ton/year ore section III-IX mine. The project is of an expansion nature, with main construction content including the addition of a mixed vertical shaft and supporting auxiliary production system, with a total planned land area of 4.077 hectares. Jinshan Mining's existing mining permit states a production scale of 480,000 tons/year, and this approval will aid in the expansion of production capacity. During the construction period, the original 480,000 ton/year production capacity will not be affected and will continue normal operations. It is anticipated that this matter will not have a significant impact on the company's current operating performance. The company will proceed with the relevant approval procedures as required by regulations and fulfill its disclosure obligations.
