The National Medical Products Administration has released 5 industry standards for the cosmetics industry, including the "General Regulations on Technical Requirements for Biotechnological Raw Materials for Cosmetics."

The State Drug Administration organized the drafting of "General Rules for Technical Requirements of Biotechnological Raw Materials for Cosmetics" and other 5 industry standards in the cosmetics industry, which were reviewed and approved by the Director's Meeting of the Cosmetic Standardization Technical Committee of the State Drug Administration, and are now being issued. The above 5 industry standards are recommended standards and will be implemented starting from May 1, 2027.
