The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shanghai Municipality has issued a notice on the issuance of "Guiding Opinions on Further Promoting the High-quality Development of Private Equity Investment Funds of Enterprises Supervised by the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission". It pointed out the optimization of the assessment and evaluation system. Regulatory enterprises should implement annual and long-term combined assessment and evaluation of managers of state-owned funds and controlling funds, focusing on the overall performance of the investment portfolio, and not simply using the profit or loss of individual projects or single years as the basis for assessment. Different financial and non-financial indicators should be set according to the fund type and operating stage.
