Yunnan: Increase funding support for football projects and promote the widespread popularity of campus football.

The General Office of the People's Government of Yunnan Province has issued a notice on the issuance of the "Twenty Measures to promote the revitalization and development of football in Yunnan". It proposes to increase financial support for football projects. In accordance with the requirements of zero-based budget management, based on project reserves, budget execution, performance management, and other situations, combined with the annual financial situation, priorities, etc., to coordinate the use of sports public welfare funds, education special funds to support football projects financially. The supported funds will be mainly used for the construction of the football youth training system, the cultivation of reserve talents, campus football, youth and social brand events organization, and the training of football professional talents. It also emphasizes the comprehensive promotion of campus football. All primary and secondary schools should incorporate football into the overall framework of educating people with integrity and school development planning, make football a part of physical education curriculum and include it in after-school services; widely carry out teaching and training of football projects, campus competitions, and other activities. Campus football characteristic schools should set up special funds for campus football, build at least one football field, equip facilities and equipment required for football teaching, training, and competition, and the football curriculum time should not be less than one-third of the total physical education class hours; from the third grade of elementary school and above, establish class and grade representative teams, universally establish school teams, the school teams should train at least 3 times a week, organize annual intra-school football leagues, and actively form teams to participate in various youth football events in the province.
