Sulynn elected as President of Vietnam.

On April 7th, at the 16th National Assembly of Vietnam, Su Linh was elected as the President of Vietnam. Su Linh, born in July 1957 in the province of Vinh Phuc in northern Vietnam, had a long career in the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security. From April 2016 to May 2024, Su Linh served as the Minister of Public Security. In May 2024, Su Linh was elected as the President of the country. In August 2024, Su Linh was also elected as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and in October 2024, he stepped down from the position of President.
