Broadcom and Google have reached a long-term agreement to collaborate on the development and supply of TPUs.

Broadcom and Google have signed a long-term agreement to collaborate on the development and supply of tensor processing units. Broadcom will research and supply custom TPUs for Google's next generation tensor processing units, as well as provide networking and other components for Google's new generation of AI server racks. The agreement is valid until 2031. In addition, Broadcom, Google, and the artificial intelligence company Anthropic are expanding their existing strategic partnership. Starting from 2027, Anthropic will receive approximately 3.5 gigawatts of computational power through Broadcom. The scale of Anthropic's use of this additional AI power will depend on its future business performance.
